ACOP – Aachen Center for Optics Production
The data-based injection molding process is being researched in the "EverPro" project. All process data from the injection molding machine - as well as from the injection compression mold - is recorded, stored in a database and then processed. The data obtained can be used both to adapt the subsequent process steps to the individual products and to optimize the injection molding process. In addition, the individual 1-to-1 assignment of the process data to the produced parts helps to realize continuous quality assurance. In the sense of a continuous process chain, the subsequent process steps are physically connected in an automated manner. An automated removal and sprue separation system is used for this purpose.
