In the field of optics production, the Fraunhofer IPT offers numerous practical seminars that deal with both the individual technologies and their integration into the optical process chain. Our seminars are characterized by a high degree of practical relevance. Following the hands-on-machines principle, we demonstrate our test benches and explain the possibilities and challenges of production in theoretical and practical blocks. In small groups, participants learn about the challenges in using the various production steps and can address individual questions in discourse with the scientific staff and other course participants.

Furthermore, we offer the conference "Aachen Polymer Optics Days", a major international event on optics production. Our seminars are usually held in German, but can also be held in English if there is a greater general demand. Conferences are hold in English.
